Whitening Trays

Custom fit whitening trays are a great way to whiten at home.  If you have yellow, discolored teeth, at home whitening trays could be the answer to the smile you have always wanted.
To have whitening trays at home you should first have Dr. Gibson do a complete exam on your mouth.  This will assure that you are a good candidate for the whitening process.  Once your exam is complete and Dr. Gibson feels that you are a good candidate, the process can begin.
The first step to having your own take home trays is impressions.  This consist of impression trays being fit to your mouth, the trays being filled with impression material and molds of your teeth being made.  Once this process is complete, you are ready to go home.  It normally takes about one week to get your trays delivered to you so that you can start the process to whiter teeth!
Once you leave the office, the in-house lab will pour stone in the impressions taken and models will be obtained.  From this point clear, light weight, custom fit trays are made from the models and sculpted to fit your gums.  The trays are ready to be delivered to you.  The trays will be tried in and inspected to be sure that the contour fits your teeth and gums exactly.  Instructions on how to fill the trays with whitening gel, time usage, and other precautions will all be verbally given and hand written so that your whitening experience will be everything you have always wanted.
