Testimony for Richard Garcia

THE 5TH WISH GRANTED BY THE WIZARD OF OZ

In November 1959 while stationed in Germany, I suffered a blow to my mouth.  Four of my front upper teeth were pushed back.  Instantly I had visions of going home without teeth and what my mother was going to think.  Automatically I pulled my teeth back into place with my thumbs, hoping to fix them.  To my disappointment they did not look the same, however, I still made a personal goal to myself to keep them for 50 years.

Unfortunately, twenty years later two of the four teeth fell out creating the birth of Dracula.  At the time my dentist made me a removable stay plate with two false teeth (fangs).  As a school bus driver I occasionally would pass the time by pulling my fangs out trying to scare the kids.  To my surprise through the years the kids had come to know me as Dracula.  During these years I was still constantly embarrassed of my two remaining damaged front teeth (one broken and the other black).  I always dreaded having my picture taken and was also worried about eating foods such as apples with false teeth.

Now, 48 years later from my mishap in Germany, I started feeling a bad tingling sensation in my remaining front teeth.  Deep down was scared.  I knew this could be very bad.  A million questions went through my mind.  What was I going to do?  Would I be without teeth for the rest of my life?  What were my options?  Should I see someone locally or a specialist out of town?  I made the decision to seek the advice of Dr. Gibson (the Wizard).  After understanding that my remaining two damaged teeth had to be removed and replaced with a permanent bridge, I was very anxious to see the results.  The procedure was a little bit of a wait but definitely worth it.

I went to the Wizard (Dr. Gibson) and the munchkins (assistants) to grant my wish for natural looking and feeling teeth, and my wish was granted.  It’s hard to explain the unbelievable feeling I had the day I received my permanent partial dentures.  After all these years of being ashamed and embarrassed of my teeth, I’m finally proud to smile and amazingly… I even feel younger.

I’m very impressed with the technology of today and would highly recommend Dr. Gibson and his highly trained staff to anyone who cares about the appearance of their smile.  In my eyes he’s a master mechanic, master surgeon and master wizard at his profession.

From a very satisfied patient,

Richard Garcia,
