Using Cerec and advanced-bonding techniques, we are able to restore your teeth to their original strength and function.  In as little as one appointment and no temporaries to wear, your teeth can be restored with a strong, customized, tooth colored ceramic restoration.  Since it is not unusual for more than one tooth to need restorations placed at one time, this can also be done for multiple teeth as well.
Once the recommendation for a porcelain restoration has been made by Dr. Gibson, the tooth will be prepared similar to traditional treatment methods, but because of the advanced technology the Cerec allows more of the enamel to be saved during preparation.  This allows more surface area and strength to bond the restoration to and is ultimately the best for your tooth.
The teeth will be coated with a safe, tasteless powder and then a digital 3-D optical impression will be taken of the tooth.  That’s right, no more goopy impressions in your mouth!  This information will be input into the computer aided design software that will allow Dr. Gibson to customize the shape of the restoration to fit your tooth exactly.
Once the design of the porcelain has been created, the milling machine will create the porcelain.  Within minutes the porcelain is cut and shaped for your tooth.  Dr. Gibson will then fit the porcelain and bond it into place.  You now have a disease free tooth with beautiful esthetics!
